Answers to Your Body Waxing Questions

Different waxing treatments require different periods of time/hair growth for optimal waxing results. For example, we prefer to do bikini and Brazilian waxing at a minimum of 2.5 weeks of hair growth (although 3+ weeks is preferred), while underarms can be waxed at a minimum of 2 weeks. At The Skin Suite, we’re dedicated to your education and empowerment for the best skincare results possible, and that includes our waxing treatments. We’ll advise you on the specific skincare needs of your treatment during your appointment, but generally, we recommend the following:

  • Don’t use harsh scented or acidic body products for a few days
  • Don’t subject the waxed skin to hot water for at least two days
  • Don’t go in public pools or saunas for several days
  • Avoid touching the waxed area as much as possible

Yes, waxing is a safe and convenient method of hair removal during pregnancy. Moms-to-be especially enjoy our expert, hassle-free treatments as an alternative to shaving.

You may choose to add LED light therapy to enhance overall results, a sheet mask to add extra hydration, or dermaplaning for more intensive exfoliation. Our Body Waxing Menu

Underarm Wax$21

Underarm waxing is recommended on a basis of every 2-4 weeks. Hair must be grown out for at least 2 or more weeks. Avoid deodorant on the day of your waxing appointment for the health of your skin and for the best results.

Half Leg Wax$68

With this treatment, hair is removed from the knee down to the feet. Toes may be done as well if requested. Hair must be 2-4 weeks grown out. Please exfoliate and moisturize leading up to your appointment but not on the day of your treatment.

Bikini Wax$35

Excess hair that falls outside of the bikini line is removed from the inner thighs and around the waistline. Hair must be grown out for a minimum of 2-3 weeks, although 4 or more is preferred. This treatment is intended for guests with a vulva.

Brazilian Front Only$56

This treatment removes all hair from the front of the vulva but not the backside. Hair must be grown out for a minimum of 3 weeks, but 4 or more is preferred. Brazilians may be done on a schedule of 4-6 weeks but are not recommended more frequently than that.

Brazilian Wax - First or Lapsed Guest$69

For first-time waxing guests or returning guests who have not had an appointment in 2 or more months. This treatment removes hair from the front to the back of the vulva and in between the cheeks. Hair must be grown out for at least 3 weeks, though more is preferred.

Brazilian Wax - Maintenance $64

Keep your intimate areas well-groomed with regularly scheduled Brazilian waxing appointments. This treatment removes hair from the entire vulva, from front to back, and in between the cheeks. We recommend scheduling appointments every 4-6 weeks.

A general clean up of the brows. Comprehensive “shaping” is not performed during this service. Trimming and tweezing are provided if necessary. Avoid any exfoliants, acids or retinols 6-7 days before this service. Avoid antibiotics 2 weeks before this service.
Lip Wax $12

This treatment ensures hair is removed from the entire perimeter of the mouth, leaving you with smooth, kissable skin. Avoid any exfoliants, acids, or retinols 6-7 days before this service. Avoid antibiotics 2 weeks before this service.

Nose Wax$13

Create a more polished and well-manicured appearance with our nose waxing, which removes hair from the base of the nostrils (and the top of the nose if desired). Avoid any exfoliants, acids, or retinols 6-7 days before this service. Avoid antibiotics 2 weeks before this service.

Sideburn Wax$13

This treatment removes excess hair between the ears and chin for a cleaner, more polished look. Avoid any exfoliants, acids, or retinols 6-7 days before this service. Avoid antibiotics 2 weeks before this service.

Chin Wax$20

With this treatment, hair is removed from the jawline and slightly below it to create a sharp, non-fuzzy silhouette. Avoid any exfoliants, acids, or retinols 6-7 days before this service. Avoid antibiotics 2 weeks before this service.

Full Face Wax$55

Full face waxing includes hair removal from the cheeks, forehead, brows, lip, and top of the nose. Avoid any exfoliants, acids, or retinols 6-7 days before this service. Avoid antibiotics 2 weeks before this service.
